‘Bio’

Frank is a University of Tasmania Medical School graduate qualifying with 1st Class Honours in 1999 after previously working as a Physiotherapist for 13 years.

His Specialist Obstetrics and Gynaecology training was completed on the Tasmanian training programme over six years. Frank practices General Obstetrics and Gynaecology. He has worked at The Royal Hobart Hospital (full then part time) over the past 14 years and at Hobart OBGYN approaching 7 years.

Interests include Obstetrics and General Gynaecology including vaginal and pelvic floor prolapse surgery, urogynaecology, Colposcopy and obstetric and gynaecologic ultrasound.

Frank also has a special interest in  Specialist Trainee Education  through the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and visits many Training Hospitals throughout Australia and New Zealand on a voluntary basis, performing accreditation for O&G training positions to assure that trainees are getting appropriate training experiences.

Training also extends to practical teaching of current UTas Medical students who do placements at Hobart OBGYN

Extracurricular activities include family- Wife and 3 Daughters,  bicycling enthusiast, interests in the Arts and music and of course AFL ( tragic Bulldogs supporter)…often sighted at State Cinema or along Cycleway.
